PLUMBING TIPS
when someone turns on a faucet in their home, they may be extremely alarmed if they see rust colored water flowing through the pipes. Rust in water is a very common problem. In fact, when pipes become galvanized, they rust and that rust will enter your water. If you have rust in your water as a result of your pipes, the best solution is to have new pipe work installed. It is a good idea to contact a plumber and determine the exact source of the rust. This way you can determine what the best course of action is to correct the problem
Sometimes, rust in water actually comes from the water heater. If you see rust in your water, you should clean out your water heater and make sure that there is no buildup of sediment at the very bottom of the heater.
